Do you offer teletherapy?
Yes. Under the Covid-19 restrictions last March,
we transitioned our existing and new clients over to an online teletherapy platform.
It was very successful and we will continue to offer this platform as an alternative to in-person sessions.
Our teletherapy is run on a HIPPA compliant online platform.
In-session appointments will remain available on a limited basis following COVID-19 restrictions.
Do you offer a sliding scale or any financial assistance?
We are committed to making counseling available to everyone.
When determining financial assistance we do use a sliding scale.
In addition, our HOPE BANK exists to provide financial assistance to those who qualify.
The Hope Bank is funded by generous donors
and we draw from that fund for those who need it.
To learn more or to apply for financial assistance,
please contact our office and we will work with you.
Do you accept insurance?
While we do not accept insurance at this time, services are often covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking your provider the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
At the client’s request, a clinical receipt can be provided for each session to submit to his/her insurance company for reimbursement.
What if I need to cancel a session?
We request that you notify your counselor
at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time
if you need to cancel your session.
Failure to give adequate notice will result in a full session charge for the missed appointment.
Please note, insurance companies will not cover missed or cancelled sessions.
How long will I be in counseling?
You and your therapist will work together to determine how long your counseling will last.
Some concerns can be resolved in a short period of time, others can take longer.
There is no limit to the number of sessions you may receive.
Are counselors available on the weekends and evenings?
We do have evening sessions available.
Currently, we do not offer counseling on the weekends.
