GCHR is a professional counseling and resource center committed to strengthening your most important relationships. Since our inception in 2007, thousands of people have received guidance and support through the variety of counseling services we offer.

The Center is designed to be a safe and life-giving place. Founded on faith, we are sensitive to all religious and cultural differences and perspectives. A distinct hallmark of the Center’s practice is the belief that redemptive relationships integrated with strong clinical models provide the best ingredients for growth and healing.

Individual, Couples & Family Counseling

Our counseling offices are located in a private, confidential setting for in-person sessions or via zoom if preferred. Our team of 8 licensed Therapists are equipped to provide guidance and support in pursuit of healing and growth for individuals, couples and families.

PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marital assessment is also available for engaged couples. Four Sessions.

Renewal Groups

Renewal Groups are small groups that meet weekly  around a specific issue or topic, led by a therapist to provide guidance and mutual support among participants. These groups meet in-person or virtually.

Educational Seminars

Therapists are available to teach and facilitate off-site seminars on counseling, spiritual formation and mental health related topics for houses of worship, community and parenting groups, non-profits. Seminar examples include:
Parenting, Trauma, Teen Sex, Drugs & Alcohol
Managing Grief and Loss and Understanding Emotional Intelligence

Professional Training for Therapists, Clergy & Chaplains

EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY (EFT) is a form of therapy that strives to help couples identify the underlying emotions that guide their relationship. The EFT approach was developed in the 1980’s, and continues to be one of the most effective counseling models used to improve relationships today.

The Center offers EFT workshops and core skills training for counseling professionals, pastors and chaplains under the leadership of George Faller, an internationally recognized EFT Supervisor and Trainer.


Our Hope Bank exists to provide counseling support to those who qualify for financial assistance. The Hope Bank is funded entirely by generous donations from individuals, houses of worship and foundations. An average of $50,000 in counseling scholarship is awarded to individuals each year.
