Nancy Sadock
LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST
Nancy Sadock is a leading professional in strengthening marriages, equipping parents, and managing life transitions. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with substance abuse and mood disorders, including anxiety and depression, substance abuse, and bereavement. Having worked closely with a psychiatrist in a psychiatric clinic, she is familiar with psychiatric medications.
Nancy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, a B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from New York University. Nancy is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, helping to train Marriage and Family Therapy candidates towards licensure. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. Her professional affiliations include the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), the Connecticut Association of the AAMFT, and the American Physical Therapy Association.
For 10 years, Nancy served as the main lecturer for an international parenting organization in the Greenwich area. Having given many talks on marriage, parenting, and the family, Nancy continues to be sought after to speak in Fairfield County on those topics, particularly to parents of school-aged children. She focuses on healthy relational dynamics, boundaries, and launching from home.
Nancy is married and has four grown children.
